At DaME PoN ("we," "our," "the App"), we are fully committed to protecting the privacy of our partner drivers. This Driver Privacy Policy describes how we collect, verify, process, and protect your personal data when you register and operate as a driver on our platform.
1. Information We Collect from Drivers
To ensure the highest standards of quality and safety, we collect the following information:
a) Registration, Verification, and Identity
- Full name, profile photo, and contact details (phone, email).
- Valid driver's license, official ID, and criminal background check.
- Driving history or Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to verify traffic history.
b) Vehicle Information
- Vehicle make, model, year, color, and license plate number.
- Valid mandatory auto insurance and images of the vehicle's mechanical condition.
c) Background Location Information (GPS)
- We collect your real-time location coordinates (GPS) when the driver app is open or running in the background (when you are in "Available" mode). This is indispensable to assign trip requests in your area, optimize routes, calculate distances and fares with full transparency, and provide safety geolocation support.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following operational purposes:
- Evaluate your application and verify your credentials before activating your driver account.
- Assign appropriate trips based on your current location and availability.
- Process your daily or weekly earnings correctly and transfer them to your registered bank account.
- Optimize navigation maps and estimated times of arrival (ETA).
- Monitor driving behavior to ensure compliance with the platform's road safety guidelines.
- Provide you with custom technical assistance in case of mechanical failures or issues during a trip.
3. How We Share Your Information
Your data is handled with the utmost confidentiality. We only share data in the following necessary scenarios:
- With Passengers: So they can identify you before entering the vehicle, we share your first name, profile photo, current rating, license plate number, and vehicle make/model.
- With Banking Partners and Payment Gateways: To process your payments quickly and securely.
- Legal Compliance Requirements: When required to cooperate with government audits or legal proceedings.
4. Security and Screening Requirements
To be an active driver on DaME PoN, you must strictly comply with the following:
- Be at least 23 years old.
- Hold a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience.
- Maintain auto insurance with active coverage according to local laws.
- Maintain a clean driving record with no recent suspensions for reckless driving.
5. Information Retention and Rights
Your driver data will be retained securely as long as you are an active partner on DaME PoN. You have the right to access, correct, or update your profile information directly from the driver application, or request service termination by contacting our support team.
